Time is running out to apply for the 2020 NWTF Dr. James Earl Kennamer Academic Scholarship

We are now accepting applications for the 2020 National Wild Turkey Federation’s Dr. James Earl Kennamer Academic Scholarship to be awarded to a deserving senior from our area.

There is a detailed process and it is not a gimme. Applicants will be graded and the winner determined by the highest score received and all other items will be reviewed and taken into consideration. Please read the requirements carefully especially the parts about being a member of the NWTF and having a hunting license.

This scholarship is designed to be awarded to someone interested in conservation and our hunting heritage, both of which are initiatives of the NWTF.

Last day for 2020 applications to be accepted is Dec. 31, 2019, that way our scholarship recipient(s) will be eligible for both the state and national scholarships this coming year.
