Introducing Erika Martinez, the new Regional Director for North West Texas
Erika is a native Texan and transplanted to Oklahoma when she was 11. She worked as a 911 dispatcher in Tillman County for 6 years, before going to work for the Tillman County Oklahoma State University Extension Office. In the 13 years there she put together numerous fairs, county livestock shows, and banquets for 4-H and Ag meetings. Erika also worked for Phillips 66 for 5 years, part time, doing their marketing in Oklahoma and Texas, which included Grand Openings for new stores and working all the Big 12 Championships games.
In February of 2012, Erika was invited to go the National Convention in Nashville not knowing a thing about NWTF. She loved it so much that I made that my yearly “vacation”.
In 2014, she reached out to NWTF to see if I could help at the convention and has been working in the Turkey Shoppe since.
After her trip to Nashville in 2015, she decided to try my hand at hunting. Erika went out with a couple of friends and shot her first 2 turkeys with 1 shot!
She has been hooked ever since. Besides turkey, Erika also hunts deer, dove, quail, and crane and love to hunt bullfrogs as well.
When she’s not out hunting, Erika loves to go out in my Jeep rock crawling.
Erika is so excited to be able to share her love for the outdoors in this new venture.
Don't hesitate to reach out to her at 580-305-2389.
Welcome home Erika!
