Read MoreOur State of Texas Volunteer Appreciation Awards program was a huge success last weekend. We celebrated some of the best volunteers in the State from the last year. The weekend started with a State Chapter Board of Directors meeting where we worked to set the budget for 2019. Then, attendees enjoyed time of fellowship and fun carnival style games before recognizing volunteers and chapters for outstanding service. Thanks to all who attended and helped organize the event. Read MoreOlivia Danielle Ansley, representing the San Jac Strutters Chapter, was chosen from an outstanding field of local chapter winners in the NWTF 2018 Texas Academic Scholarship Competition. Olivia, an 18 year old senior at Shepherd High School, posted a 4.0 GPA and ranked 1st in her class of 131 seniors. An all-around student with numerous leadership positions and awards, Olivia plans to attend Sam Houston State University in Huntsville to major in Kinesiology.
